On August 30, 2022, a General Assembly of the Lithuanian Ambassadors’ Club (LAC) took place, chaired by LAC President Algimantas Rimkūnas and was attended by 54 LAC members (out of 120 members). We sincerely thank everyone involved.
During the meeting:
- 01.05.2021 – 30.04.2022 LAC activity report and financial balance has been approved;
- information on new LAC members and ambassadors who have cancelled their LAC membership has been provided;
- proposals for LAC activities for the coming year were discussed and the proposal to organise next year (before NATO summit) a LAC conference on Lithuania’s path to NATO was approved;
- LAC Board decision to award LAC Prize for the Best Master’s Thesis in the International Relations and Diplomacy to Mr Paulius Siratavičius, the General Jonas Žemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy has been confirmed.
The participants of the General LAC meeting observed a minute of silence in memory of the deceased Ambassadors of LAC: Mr Romas Misiūnas, Mr Rimantas Morkvėnas and Ms Loreta Zakarevičienė.
