On 14 December 2022, the Board of the Lithuanian Ambassadors Club (LAC) met to summarise the LAC activities, which took place during the year 2022 and to discuss what events could take place in 2023. It was proposed to update the ambassadors’ archival memories next year. The LAC Board members also endorsed the idea for the new and present ambassadors to fill an on-line joining LAC form.
Ambassador Algimantas Rimkūnas, President of the LAC, reminded that the mandate of the current LAC Board and President expires next year. Therefore, it is necessary to invite the Club members to nominate new candidates.
The Board members unanimously approved the admission of 14 new members. The new LAC members are: Mr Nerijus Aleksiejūnas (Ambassador to France), Mr Ramūnas Davidonis (Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates), Mr Darius Gaidys (Ambassador to Singapore), Ms Sigita Maslauskaitė-Mažylienė (Ambassador to the Holy See), Mr Jonas Mažeika (Ambassador to Norway), Mr Arnoldas Pranckevičius (Ambassador to the Lithuanian Representation to the European Union), Mr Andrius Pulokas (former Ambassador to Belarus), Ms Asta Radikaitė (Ambassador to Denmark), Ms Lina Rukštelienė (Ambassador to Austria), Ms Lina Skerstonaitė (Ambassador to Greece), Mr Darius Staniulis (Ambassador to the Lithuanian Representation in Geneva), Mr Tadas Valionis (Ambassador to Moldova), Mr Petras Zapolskas (former Ambassador to the Holy See), Mr Aurelijus Zykas (Ambassador to Japan).
