On 19 September 2023, the Lithuanian Ambassadors Club (LAC) Board meeting took place. The preparation for the LAC General Assembly was on its agenda. The general Assembly has been scheduled for November 6th, 2023.
The Board also unanimously approved the admission of 2 new LAC members: Ms. Rasa Jankauskaitė (Ambassador to South Africa) and Mr. Mindaugas Rukštelė (Ambassador to Hungary).

After the meeting, the LAC President ambassador Algimantas Rimkūnas invited the Board members to a celebratory event during which Pijus Domantas Petrošius, a master student at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University, was awarded the LAC Prize for his thesis “US Attention as an Ontological Source of Security. An Analysis of Lithuania’s Value-Based Foreign Policy Towards China” (The thesis supervisor prof. Dovilė Jakniūnaitė).
