On 16 July 2024 the Lithuanian Ambassadors’ Club (LAC) held its General Assembly. The meeting was attended by 54 Club members (out of 136) and was chaired by President Ambassador Algimantas Rimkūnas. We sincerely thank all those who participated.
The highlights of the meeting:
- Approval of the LAC Activity Report and Financial Statement for the period of May 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024;
- Sharing information about membership and new members of LAC;
- Approval of the new LAC Board and the nomination of the President;
- Discussion on the prospects for the further development of LAC activities.
Following the elections, the new LAC Board comprises of Ambassadors Šarūnas Adomavičius, Rokas Bernotas, Alfonsas Eidintas, Marijus Gudynas, Dainius Junevičius, Halina Kobeckaitė, Algirdas Kumža, Violeta Motulaitė and Algimantas Rimkūnas. Algimantas Rimkūnas has been re-elected as LAC President, Ambassador Šarūnas Adomavičius – as Vice President. Marijus Gudynas has been elected as Chancellor, and Ambassador Nijolė Žambaitė as Auditor.
A moment of silence was observed in honour of LAC members Ambassadors Virgilijus Bulovas and Gediminas Kirkilas.
